- Reactions work now. They were kept only in memory, so every update wiped every reaction in the room. They were never sent to anyone who joined afterwards. And reacting to an older message did nothing at all, silently. All three are fixed: reactions are saved, they come back after an update, and they are there when you open the app.
- You can take a reaction back. Tap the same emoji again and it is removed. Your own reactions are marked, so you can see which ones are yours before you tap.
- The reaction bar can be dismissed. On a phone or tablet, tapping a message opened the bar and nothing closed it. Tap the message again, tap another, or tap anywhere else.
- You can write more than one line. On the web the message box could not hold a line break at all and slid sideways forever. It grows now: Enter sends, Shift and Enter start a new line. On iOS the send button sends and Return starts a new line.
- The ✕ on a profile works. It was small enough to miss. It is bigger, and on iOS there is now a close button at all — dragging the sheet down was the only way out.
- The reply arrow is bigger, and so is the ✕ that cancels a reply.
- The browser tab tells you when a message arrives while you are in another tab: a count in the tab title and a dot on the icon, cleared when you come back.
